Reference Sires:
A Tribute to Honor Paternal Ancestors

The following photos and informational highlights are in honor of the paternal ancestors of our foundation stock.  More photos and information will be added periodically to this page.  We wish to thank all of the photographers whose art helped create a pictorial history of our special breed.

El Majiid (*Ansata Ibn Halima++ x Ansata Jellabia by Ans. Ibn Sudan)

Picture
I have to honor the sire of our wonderful mare, Shams Majiida MA.  In loving Majiida, I love also El Majiid and wish I had the opportunity to see him in person before his death in 2002.  While not many of his offspring were shown in Class A competition or open shows, it seems even more significant to note that through his daughter Shams Majiida MA he is the grandsire of a multi-champion stallion, Serr Majiid (Anchor Hill Faser x Shams Majiida MA by El Majiid)  Progeny of El Majiid are noted for their kind and gentle disposition and for being curious, intelligent, and very loving of their people.  I recently came across a shot of El Majiid that bears such an absolutely striking resemblance to his daughter I had to publish the photos for comparison.  To view El Majiid and his daughter Shams Majiida MA with a side-by-side photo comparison please visit our "Breed Standard" page.
